SUMMER LOVIN!

Lorenza kicked off summer with two nights of fun at The Musket Room in NYC! We had our first Lorenza Vertical dinner where three vintages of Lorenza were paired with an awesome meal made by owner/chef Matt Lambert. We all agreed that the 2011 Lorenza was THE favorite that night! And as always the food from this Michelin star restaurant was amazing!

The next night we took over the bar for a fabulous happy hour! It’s always about the people and our best friends were all there and the pink wine was flowing! As a treat that night Sommelier Dane Campbell created a cocktail with Lorenza named after the vineyard planted in 1885 where the Cinsault is grown. It was a big hit. Here’s the recipe:

BECHTOLD SPRITZ

1 oz Lorenza Rose
1 oz Bols Genever
1 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
¾ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
¾ oz Greenhook Beach Plum Gin
2 dashes Scrappy’s Grapefruit Bitters
½ oz Honey Syrup
Shake Well!
